History:

Our clinic in Slidell has been open since 2003. In 2008 we moved to a larger location to serve the growing community and to be able to provide the variety and excellence of services that our patients need.

We have been voted Northshore’s Best for 6 years. We think this is attributed to striving to provide the very best care on each and every visit for every single one of our patients. Also, the Slidell community really appreciates us being open from 6:30 am to 7 pm to cater to the commuting population.

We are very involved in the community, sponsoring local teams and consistently providing free workshops for various organizations. We feel that one of the most important ways that we can give back is by providing free education that can dramatically improve the health of our community.

Liz Davis

Liz Davis is diligent in the pursuit of continuing education and committed to the profession of physical therapy. Prior to joining the STAR team, she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of South Alabama where there was an emphasis on rehabilitation for orthopedic and neurological injuries.
Liz was born in Charleston, IL and eventually traveled to the south earning her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Louisiana State University. She now resides in Covington, LA.
Liz is certified in Integrative Dry Needling and feels that this provides a significant advantage in her treatment of issues that have some kind of muscle involvement.

We utilize an individualized approach of hands-on, manual therapy as well as exercise based therapy.

Massage may be a key component of your care if there are muscular problems present. Also we will usually include stretching to help normalize posture, and strengthening to return normal stability.
